Demi Vollering returned to competition in Dwars door Vlaanderen after an altitude training with Marlen Reusser. In the same week that Reusser won Gent-Wevelgem, Demi Vollering prevailed in Dwars door Vlaanderen. On the sloping course between Wortegem and Waregem, she set off, after which she won Dwars door Vlaanderen solo. Her second win in as many races, after winning the Strade Bianche.
