Demi Vollering started her dream week in Amstel Gold Race in which she would realise the historic Ardennes Tripple. The Dutchwoman rode away from a group that also included teammate Lotte Kopecky at the right moment and held out until the finish. Good for the win in one of her favourite races and main goals of the season. Kopecky sprinted convincingly to second place.
