"Limburg is an area that suits us," sporting director Danny Stam had noted before the start of the fourth stage of the Simac Ladies Tour. As it turned out. Throughout the ride, Team SD Worx was attentive to the appointment. The decision followed on the final climb of the Cauberg. Lotte Kopecky and Lorena Wiebes completed the team's work by finishing first and second.  "Credits to my teammates for how they controlled everything. Lorena and I just had to finish the job. The fact that we finished one and two couldn't be nicer," Kopecky said.

Lotte Kopecky threw kudos to her teammates after all the work done. "Without them, Lorena Wiebes and I wouldn't have been able to sprint for the win. I have to thank the team, they were ironclad today. They worked hard to not let the gap on the two attackers get too big so we could still catch them back. Then they continued to pace and control the group. Lorena and I just had to finish it to thank them," Kopecky said.

"I knew the Cauberg is a slope that suits me well. I noticed that in the last Amstel Gold Race. In the meeting we had discussed this scenario. I now also want to get the overall win in the Simac Ladies Tour for the team. Although we should certainly not underestimate tomorrow's stage. The course is quite exhausting and the tropical heat will play a role. We will definitely have to race attentively," Kopecky said.

"This was a top day for Team SD Worx," continued sports manager Danny Stam. "All the riders were on target. How Mischa Bredewold, Femke Markus, Barbara Guarischi and Elena Cecchini rode today was impressive. Then when you finish it this way, they also know what they did all that work for. We wanted to make course today and we succeeded. Tomorrow our goal is to secure the overall victory. Either way, this is a season to remember," Stam concluded.
