Nikki Brammeier showed today she recovered from illness in the GP Brabant. The British champion of the Boels-Dolmans Cycling Team finished third in Rosmalen behind winner Maud Kaptheijns and Loes Sels. Brammeier and the others had to accept early in the race Maud Kaptheijns was the strongest among them, although the Dutch rider crashed in the final of the race. Behind Loes Sels Brammeier secured the last spot on the podium by outsprinting Ceylin Alvarado in Rosmalen. "I am satisfied" the rider of Boels-Dolmans said after the race. "I suffered from illnes the last week, that's why I'm happy I could fight for the podium. Just before the sprint I positioned well and the third place was within reach. This gives confidence looking forward to Ruddervoorde tomorrow."
