Born Sportscare new partner of Team SD Worx

Team SD Worx is pleased they can welcome Born Sportscare as a new partner to the team, for the coming years. In the recent years this team has dominated the women's peloton as Boels-Dolmans. In the last season Anna van der Breggen won both World titles during the road race and individual time trial, Chantal Blaak crossed the finish line first of the Tour of Flanders and Jolien D'Hoore was the best in Gent-Wevelgem. As from January 1st 2021, the team will continue as Team SD Worx.

“In our aim to be the best in the world, the collaboration with Born Sportscare is important”, sports manager Danny Stam emphasizes. “Born is constantly innovating their products. While using their products, we give our riders the best they need to perform at the highest level.”

Born Sportscare was founded in 1985 to innovate sports nutrition in terms of taste and eco-friendliness.  From that moment on, the company took their position as a worldwide pioneer of innovative sports nutrition. Innovation is still a key element, as they have strong collaborations with professional athletes and nutrition experts. The effectiveness, quality and perfect taste of their sports drinks, bars and gels during exercise is the base line.

“In the collaboration with Team SD Worx, we attach great importance to the feedback from the riders,” says Roy Slangen, product & marketing manager at Born Sportcare “They test existing and new products of our company during extreme conditions and can clearly indicate how we can further improve our products. For example, we also work closely with the Dutch cyclingfederation KNWU.”

As a partner of Team SD Worx, Born Sportscare gets the chance to work with the best women's cycling team in the world. “This offers opportunities as more and more women have started cycling in recent years,” says Slangen. “It’s an honor to link our name to well-known top athletes such as Olympic champion Anna van der Breggen, former World champion Chantal Blaak, World champion points race Amy Pieters and all other great cyclists of Team SD Worx. Our aim remains to help endurance athletes to achieve their goals and create unforgettable experiences while using the best sports nutrition and care products.”
